My first practice run for the Woodburn Car Club Challenge bracket race in September, 2006. Can't tell what I'm racing in this one. I think its a Nova. This run is one of many personal bests of the day with a 14.92 @ 91.69.
My second practice run for the Woodburn Car Club Challenge bracket race in September, 2006. I'm racing a '40 Ford in this video. This run is one of many personal bests of the day with a 14.91 @ 91.82.
My third practice run for the Woodburn Car Club Challenge bracket race in September, 2006. I'm racing an Olds 442 in this video. This run is one of many personal bests of the day with a 14.90 @ 92.40.
This is the first round of bracket racing for the Woodburn Drag Strip Car Club Challenge. Not only do I beat the truck to the finish line, but I also nail my dial in right on the nose AND acquire one of many personal bests of the day with a 14.89 @ 92.07.
This is the second round of bracket racing for the Woodburn Drag Strip Car Club Challenge. I'm up against that Olds 442 again in this race. Not sure what happened with me here, but for some reason or another I pulled a 14.95 @ 91.95. I thought for sure the way things were going all day that I'd end up pulling a 14.88 on this pass.
With bracket racing over, it was time for just some fun runs. This is me up against fellow PDXCGP club member Jim Winters and his 40th Anniversary Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. Jim red-lighted and I made a 14.94 @ 91.93 pass.
The last race of the day for me. I'm going up against a 70's Corvette, which was a pretty close race till about 3/4 of the way to the finish. This was my best run of the day with a 14.81 @ 92.90 pass.
